In theme with 'uncahined'/'breaking chains' I wanted to stick to a broken chain, but the challenge was to add some finesse. This led to my inspiration of going with the Cuban link.

I started my design process focusing on the symmetry of negative space while also creating motion. Exaggerating the curves of the cuban link to create a more intense look.
